VAE (Accreditation of Prior and Experiential Learning)The VAE procedure at MOD'SPE Paris is comprised of four steps :Step 1: Information and AdviceThis first step aims to inform candidates of their eligibility and the papers and documents they will need for inscription. An inscription booklet and practical guide are distributed during this preliminary meeting. (Booklet 1)Step 2: Examination of Applicant EligibilityApplications are examined by a school arbitrator.Applicants will be informed of the arbitrator's decision of the pursuit or abandon of the VAE procedure within two months of reception of their applicant files. Those who are admissible will be informed of the date of the next commission.Step 3: Elaboration of the Applicant's VAE File (Booklet 2)For those who wish, aid is available to help constitute a VAE Application.A timetable is proposed to each applicant along with a contract that is elaborated with their collaboration indicating the objectives to be obtained, the school's commitment to supporting those objectives as well as individualized payment methods.Step 4: Validation of Professional SkillsA jury of at least six persons (four fashion executives and two training professors) meets annually to analyze the applicants' files before receiving them for individual interviews.Following the interview, the jury decides whether or not to validate a part or the totality of a candidate's professional title.Notification of the jury's decision is transmitted to the candidates within a two-week delay.Those candidates having received only a partial validation can take advantage of a follow-up interview designed to help them choose the complementary action needed to complete their accreditation.Request for information... |
